Julie Gurr Baskets
Hand woven willow baskets in various sizes, shapes and colours. Made by Julie Gurr from her workshop in East Sussex using a range of traditional and contemporary basket-making techniques.
Deep and spacious handled basket, intricately woven from willow by Julie Gurr in East Sussex. Asymmetric in form with swirling lines of stripped willow throughout. For logs, storage or as you will. Taking inspiration from her coastal surroundings, Julie’s sculptural baskets draw on basketry techniques from several different cultures. The warm, natural colours of the differing varieties of willow bark make each basket unique.
