Jodie Metcalfe Jewellery
Scotland-based jeweller Jodie Metcalfe creates intricate, sculptural pieces of jewellery from a range of recycled and reclaimed materials. From hoop and stud earrings, to hand forged coin pendants.
A recycled 9ct gold coin pendant, threaded onto a sterling silver chain with a bolt ring fastening. Each gold coin is hand forged, pierced and struck with a hammer – giving a subtle texture to each. Hand formed by Jodie Metcalfe in Durness, Scotland. Jodie uses heat, pressure and traditional jewellery-making tools to create each piece, along with an array of recycled and reclaimed precious metals and gemstones - making each piece entirely unique in texture and shape.
This item is part of our New Makers programme. In its third year running, five makers demonstrating excellence in skill, originality and craftsmanship have been chosen by a TOAST panel.
